Operation Flashpoint : Red River

It seems like there is so many FPS games coming out these days and yet another has surfaced. This one kinda has flown under the radar. Operation Flashpoint : Red River is the third installment to the series. The first two titles were : Operation Flashpoint : Cold War Crisis & Operation Flashpoint 2 : Dragon Rising. OFP seems to be more of a tactical shooter then other titles we are use to seeing here are some of the Features :

*Go closer to the experience of the US Marines on campaign with the ultimate tactical infantry shooter

*Stand together with 4 player drop-in drop-out online co-op multiplayer in campaign mode and standalone Fire Team Engagements

*Become immersed in an engrossing narrative which unfolds over three acts in campaign mode

*Play as Grenadier, Scout, Rifleman and Automatic Rifleman classes, each with unique strengths and weaknesses for increased replayability

*Earn and spend XP on weapons, attachments and abilities for each of the fireteam’s specialists

*Call in Combat Support such as Mortars, Howitzers and JDAMs, whilst AH-1Z Helicopters and A-10 Ground Attack Aircraft provide Close Air Support

Now this isn’t a title I’m looking into getting myself, but for you really big Military FPS gamers out there you might be. Let us know what you think. What are your concerns? With so many other titles recently is this a Buy or a Leave Behind? Operation Flashpoint : Red River is set to launch June 7 , 2011. Check out the trailer below.
